Lange & Söhne, Glashütte, quality 1A with mvt and dial marked for retailer Ernst Kutter of Stuttgart, 53mm, heavy 18K gold original Lange marked HC with initials to front, Jurgensen-style lips, gold cuvette, SW-LS with setting mechanism released by depressing pendant, fully capped lever escapement with gold pallet and escape wheel, diamond endstone, 20J, gilt mvt, s#28316 with matching serial number to case. CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance somewhat gummy but will give a few ticks if prodded, overhaul needed, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with some mild haze, winding wheels with some oxide; dial with edge chipping between 4 and 5 which is largely concealed by bezel; excellent hands; case shows ample wear, dent at right perimeter of front, dents to band at 5 and 10, some dings or small dents to upper portion of front and scattered to rear, initials with good engraving detail; bow pivots freely and is thinned at top, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
